The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), saw Gilbert's football team bounce Central by a final score of 48-0.

With the win, Gilbert advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ) to encounter the Saints in a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Notre Dame Prep lost 27-14 in their recent non-league bout against Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ)

The Bobcats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Dobson for a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. Central will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 49-21 non-league win over Browne (Phoenix, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-2.
