September 12, 2025: Chanute, KS 66720 In Friday's league match, the host Chanute Blue Comets football squad scored a decisive 55-0 triumph over the Field Kindley Golden Tornado.
The Blue Comets (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Bullpups go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, McPherson walloped Circle (Towanda, KS), 34-17, in a league battle.
The Golden Tornado now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Emporia for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Field Kindley will play a Spartans team coming off a 52-0 non-league win over West (Wichita, KS). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
