September 12, 2025: Pasadena, MD 21122 The Chesapeake Cougars football squad scored 24 points and limited the visiting Patterson Clippers to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to First State Military Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Chesapeake will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-6 non-league win over DuPont (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Patterson drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to City College (Baltimore, MD) to battle the Black Knights in a Class 3A East game on Thursday, September 18. The Black Knights enter the game with a record of 1-1. City College lost 7-0 in their recent non-league game against Randallstown (Randallstown, MD)
