The Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) football knocked off the visiting Palmer Dragons (Marks, MS), 22-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Red Panthers now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Humphreys County for a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. Coahoma County will clash with a Cowboys squad coming off a 36-0 non-league win over Gentry (Indianola, MS). The Cowboys record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Palmer drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS) to battle the Lions in a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Rosa Fort lost 42-40 in their recent non-league contest against PURE Academy (Memphis, TN)
