The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Trinity Christian Eagles (Opelika, AL) and the host Coosa Valley Academy Rebels (Harpersville, AL), witnessed Trinity Christian's football squad knock off Coosa Valley Academy by a tally of 60-46.

The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Evangel Christian Academy (Montgomery, AL). The Lions enter the AISA 8-Man (8 Man) contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Evangel Christian Academy gained a win over Snook Christian Academy (Foley, AL), 62-38, in a league contest.

Next up, the Rebels encounter the Escambia Academy Cougars (Atmore, AL) in a AISA 8-Man (8 Man) bout, on Friday, September 19. Coosa Valley Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 44-12 league win over Southern Prep Academy (Camp Hill, AL).
