The Dalhart Wolves got by the visiting Panhandle Panthers football squad by a margin of 42-35 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wolves now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Friona for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Dalhart will meet a Chieftans squad coming off a 48-28 non-league loss to Wellington (Wellington, TX). The Chieftans record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Panhandle drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host River Road (Amarillo, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-1. River Road won 27-12 in their recent non-league game against Tulia (Tulia, TX)
