California High School Football - Delhi falls to Gilroy

September 12, 2025: Delhi, CA 95315

The Gilroy Mustangs felled the host Delhi Hawks football team by a score of 39-17 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Leigh Longhorns (San Jose, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 19. Gilroy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Longhorns come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 41-14 non-league win over South San Francisco (South San Francisco, CA).

With the defeat, Delhi drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Le Grand (Le Grand, CA) to meet the Bulldogs in a Southern League test on Friday, September 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-1. Le Grand won 33-15 in their recent non-league test against Orestimba (Newman, CA)
