Deshler Tigers (Tuscumbia, AL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL), 49-6 in a league battle.

With the win, Deshler advances its record to 4-0 on the year. The Tigers travel to Colbert County (Leighton, AL) to confront the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, September 26. The Indians enter the match with a record of 2-2.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Brooks Lions (Killen, AL) in a 4A Region 7 match, on Friday, September 19. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 27-7 league win over Central (Florence, AL).
