The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Junction Eagles (Junction, TX) and the visiting Early Longhorns (Early, TX), witnessed Junction's football squad knock off Early by a tally of 34-14.

The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mason (Mason, TX). The Punchers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Mason beat Coleman (Coleman, TX), 50-9, in a non-league bout.

The Longhorns now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Peaster for a non-league bout on Friday, September 19. Early will encounter a Greyhounds team coming off a 28-7 non-league win over Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-0.
