The Fuquay - Varina Bengals felled the visiting Willow Spring Storm football team by a score of 20-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bengals play the Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 7A challenge, on Friday, September 19. Fuquay - Varina will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Comets go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 55-2 non-league win over West Johnston (Benson, NC).

With the defeat, Willow Spring drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Storm host Panther Creek (Cary, NC) to face the Catamounts in a Quad City Seven 8A challenge on Friday, September 26. The Catamounts go into the challenge with a record of 3-1.
