Methacton Warriors (Norristown, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA), 30-18 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Methacton advances its record to 2-2 on the season. The Warriors travel to Boyertown (Boyertown, PA) to play the Bears in a Pioneer - Liberty battle on Friday, September 19. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 2-2. Boyertown lost 28-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Downingtown East (Exton, PA)

The Patriots (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Downingtown East (Exton, PA). The Cougars go into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Downingtown East toppled Boyertown (Boyertown, PA), 28-0, in a non-league challenge.
