The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) and the host Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA), witnessed North Reading's football squad knock off Greater Lowell Tech by a tally of 35-7.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Dedham (Dedham, MA). The Marauders enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Dedham gained a win over Cardinal Spellman (Brockton, MA), 14-0, in a non-league contest.
