Kentucky High School Football - Logan County nudges Greenwood
September 12, 2025: Russellville, KY 42276 In Friday's non-league match, the host Logan County Cougars football squad scored a close 22-21 victory over the Greenwood Gators.
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Patriots enter the 4A District 1 match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Allen County-Scottsville was nudged by Glasgow (Glasgow, KY), 41-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Gators confront the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) in a 5A District 2 battle, on Friday, September 19. Greenwood will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars go into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 15-14 non-league win over Butler County (Morgantown, KY).
