Georgia High School Football - Groves defeated by Islands

September 12, 2025: Garden City, GA 31408

The Islands Sharks were victorious over the host Groves Rebels football team by a score of 31-18 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Sharks face the Liberty County Panthers (Hinesville, GA) in a AAA Region 3 game, on Friday, September 19. Islands will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 40-34 league win over Long County (Ludowici, GA).

The Rebels (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Johnson (Savannah, GA). The Atomsmashers come into the AAA Region 3 outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Johnson was knocked off by Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA), 47-13, in a league outing.
