The Harding Academy Lions football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles to 6 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Lions now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Christian Academy for a Division II-A West test on Thursday, September 18. Harding Academy will meet a Lions squad coming off a 42-0 non-league win over West Carroll (Atwood, TN). The Lions record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Tupelo Christian Prep drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Strayhorn (Sarah, MS) to face the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 18. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Strayhorn won 34-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Smithville (Smithville, MS)
