In Friday's league game, the Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME) football squad tipped the visiting Wells Warriors (Wells, ME), by a margin of 22-16.

The Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oceanside for a C North outing on Friday, September 19. Hermon will clash with a Mariners squad coming off a 39-7 league loss to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME). The Mariners record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Wells falls to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to battle the Tigers in a C North contest on Friday, September 19. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 2-0. Gardiner won 21-6 in their recent league contest against Old Town (Old Town, ME)
