In Friday's league match, the host Highland Park Scots football squad scored a good 44-16 triumph over the Sumner Academy Sabres.

The Scots (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Schlagle (Kansas City, KS). The Stallions come into the Meadowlark match with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Schlagle prevailed over Wyandotte (Kansas City, KS), 44-0, in a league battle.
