In Friday's non-league game, the Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA) football team overcame the host Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA), by a tally of 28-0.

In their next game, the Crimson Tide battle the North Webster Knights (Springhill, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 19. Minden will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
