The Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs walloped the host Independence/Gilmanton Indees football team by a score of 47-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Pepin/Alma Eagles (Pepin, WI) in a challenge, on Friday, September 19. Melrose-Mindoro will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 52-14 league win over Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI).
