The Manchester Lancers were victorious over the host James River Midlothian Rapids football team by a score of 34-13 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers face the Clover Hill Cavaliers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion challenge, on Friday, September 19. Manchester will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 58-0 league loss to Huguenot (Richmond, VA).

With the defeat, James River Midlothian drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Rapids travel to Monacan (Richmond, VA) to clash with the Chiefs in a Dominion outing on Friday, September 19. The Chiefs come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Monacan lost 46-6 in their recent league outing against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA)
