September 12, 2025: Joliet, IL 60432 Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 55-6 in a league match.
The Bengals (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes come into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Yorkville routed Minooka (Minooka, IL), 14-13, in a league match.
Coming up next, the Steelmen meet the Oswego East Wolves (Oswego, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 19. Joliet Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wolves come into the match with a 3-0 record after their 21-9 league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
