Texas High School Football - Keller nips Northwest

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Keller Indians (Keller, TX) and the visiting Northwest Texans (Justin, TX), witnessed Keller's football squad edge Northwest by a tally of 34-28.

The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bell (Hurst, TX). The Blue Raiders go into the 6A Region I District 4 bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Bell nudged Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX), 35-28, in a league bout.

The Texans now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host V.R. Eaton for a 6A Region I District 4 bout on Friday, September 19. Northwest will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Braswell (Little Elm, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.
