The Kenston Forest Kavaliers football squad (Blackstone, VA), was nudged 14-12 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC)

The Bulldogs (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Cary Christian (Cary, NC). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Cary Christian got by Life Christian Academy (Chester, VA), 39-12, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Kavaliers battle the Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 19. Kenston Forest will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Caissons go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 64-6 league win over Massanutten Military Academy (Woodstock, VA).
