The Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats football squad scored 55 points and limited the host Madison Dragons to 0 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bobcats now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Stanton for a D1 District 4 (8 Man) test on Friday, September 19. Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 36-6 non-league loss to Central Valley (Greeley, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-3.
The Dragons (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Humphrey-Lindsay (Humphrey, NE). The Bulldogs enter the D1 District 5 (8 Man) game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Humphrey-Lindsay was ripped by Elkhorn Valley (Tilden, NE), 54-18, in a non-league game.
