In Friday's non-league battle, the host Stadium Tigers football team scored a nice 30-10 win over the Mercer Island Islanders.

With the win, Stadium advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tigers host Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA) to play the Rams in a 4A North Puget Sound battle on Friday, September 19. The Rams go into the battle with a record of 2-0. Mt. Rainier won 21-0 in their recent non-league battle against Eisenhower (Yakima, WA)

The Islanders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. Mercer Island will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 44-7 non-league win over Inglemoor (Kenmore, WA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-0.
