Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH), 28-23 in a league match.

The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Covington (Covington, OH). The Buccs come into the Three Rivers match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Covington was nudged by Miami East (Casstown, OH), 22-21, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH) in a Three Rivers battle, on Friday, September 19. Milton-Union will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Polar Bears go into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 34-16 league loss to Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH).
