Oregon High School Football - Monroe falls to Santiam
September 12, 2025: Monroe, OR 97456 The Santiam Wolverines felled the host Monroe Dragons football squad by a margin of 28-2 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wolverines now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Paul for a 2A Special District 2 (9 Man) game on Friday, September 19. Santiam will face a Buckaroos team coming off a 30-26 non-league loss to Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Buckaroos record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Monroe drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Toledo (Toledo, OR) to clash with the Boomers in a 2A Special District 3 (9 Man) outing on Friday, September 19. The Boomers come into the outing with a record of 0-2. Toledo lost 52-6 in their recent non-league outing against Myrtle Point (Myrtle Point, OR)
