The Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) football trounced the visiting Nebraska Lutheran Knights (Waco, NE), 70-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Indians now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a D2 District 1 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 19. Weeping Water will clash with a Irish squad coming off a 38-0 non-league loss to Johnson County Central (Tecumseh, NE). The Irish record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Nebraska Lutheran drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to High Plains (Polk, NE) to battle the Storm in a D2 District 4 (8 Man) game on Friday, September 19.
