Michigan High School Football - Norway trounces St. Ignace
September 12, 2025: St. Ignace, MI 49781 In Friday's league match, the visiting Norway Knights football squad scored a decisive 40-6 victory over the St. Ignace Saints.
The Knights (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Wright (Ironwood, MI). The Red Devils come into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Wright was routed by Hurley (Hurley, WI), 28-14, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, St. Ignace drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Newberry (Newberry, MI) to meet the Indians in a Great Lakes - East 1 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 19. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Newberry lost 53-6 in their recent league challenge against Pickford (Pickford, MI)
