September 12, 2025: Spring Lake, MI 49456 Reeths-Puffer Rockets (Muskegon, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI), 35-28 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Reeths-Puffer improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Rockets travel to Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI) to meet the Sailors in a Ottawa-Kent - Green test on Friday, September 19. The Sailors come into the test with a record of 2-1. Mona Shores won 64-0 in their recent non-league test against Hamady (Flint, MI)
With the defeat, Spring Lake drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Christian (Grand Rapids, MI) to play the Eagles in a Ottawa-Kent - White challenge on Friday, September 19. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Christian lost 38-7 in their recent non-league challenge against East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI)
