In Friday's non-league game, the Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) football squad trounced the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), by a margin of 51-6.

The Knights now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scranton Prep for a Lackawanna 1 outing on Friday, September 19. Scranton will clash with a Cavaliers squad coming off a 49-44 league win over Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, West Scranton drops to 1-3 on the year. The Invaders host Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Wolfpack come into the outing with a record of 2-2. Wilkes-Barre lost 24-21 in their recent league outing against Dallas (Dallas, PA)
