The Sedro-Woolley Cubs were victorious over the visiting Stanwood Spartans football team by a score of 34-20 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Cubs face the Snohomish Panthers (Snohomish, WA) in a 3A Wesco - North test, on Friday, September 19. Sedro-Woolley will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 20-3 non-league loss to Glacier Peak (Snohomish, WA).

With the defeat, Stanwood drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, WA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 3A Wesco - North test on Friday, September 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-2. Oak Harbor lost 39-14 in their recent league test against Ferndale (Ferndale, WA)
