In Friday's league game, the West Salem Titans (Salem, OR) football team overcame the visiting Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR), by a tally of 29-14.

In their next game, the Titans battle the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. West Salem will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 0-2 record after their 58-6 non-league loss to Sandy (Sandy, OR).
