The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Tahoma Bears (Maple Valley, WA) and the host Skyline Spartans (Sammamish, WA), witnessed Tahoma's football squad knock off Skyline by a tally of 43-35.

The Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy Catholic (Burien, WA). The Lancers enter the 4A North Puget Sound contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Kennedy Catholic was toppled by Sumner (Sumner, WA), 28-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Spartans battle the Issaquah Eagles (Issaquah, WA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Skyline will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 16-15 non-league loss to Olympia (Olympia, WA).
