Illinois High School Football - Marengo can't hold off Woodstock North
September 12, 2025: Marengo, IL 60152 Woodstock North Thunder (Woodstock, IL) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), 18-16 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Woodstock North advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thunder travel to Plano (Plano, IL) to play the Reapers in a non-league battle on Monday, September 22. The Reapers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Indians now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodstock for a non-league match on Friday, September 19.
