California High School Flag Football - Saint Joseph can't hold off Redondo Union

September 12, 2025: Redondo Beach, CA 90277

Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their flag football team tip the visiting Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA), 7-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Redondo Union advances its record to 9-2 on the season. The Sea Hawks host Torrance (Torrance, CA) to play the Tartars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Tartars go into the battle with a record of 8-3. Torrance won 27-6 in their recent league match against West (Torrance, CA)

Coming up next, the Jesters confront the Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA) in a match, on Monday, September 15. Saint Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 11-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 19-0 non-league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA).
