Missouri High School Soccer - Metro knocks off University City
September 12, 2025: St. Louis, MO 63130 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Metro Panthers (St. Louis, MO) and the host University City Lions (St. Louis, MO), saw Metro's soccer squad triumph over University City by a count of 5-0.
With the triumph, Metro moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Windsor (Imperial, MO) to meet the Owls in a non-league match on Monday, September 15. The Owls come into the match with a record of 0-4. Windsor lost 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Perryville (Perryville, MO)
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hazelwood Central for a Suburban - North match on Tuesday, September 16. University City will meet a Hawks team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Parkway North (St. Louis, MO). The Hawks record now stands at 2-3.
