The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caney Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. Newkirk will confront a Trojans team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Oktaha (Oktaha, OK). The Trojans record now stands at 12-5.
