The Sports & Medical Sciences Academy Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets to 0 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodstock Academy for a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy will play a Centaurs team coming off a 3-0 league win over Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT). The Centaurs record now stands at 5-1.

The Jets (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Academy of Science and Innovation (New Britain, CT). The Ravens go into the Capital Region game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Academy of Science and Innovation gained a win over Capital Prep (Hartford, CT), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
