Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Center Grove Trojans (Greenwood, IN) and the visiting Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL), observed Center Grove's volleyball squad notch a victory over Althoff Catholic by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Center Grove improves its record to 13-6 on the season. The Trojans travel to Effingham (Effingham, IL) to encounter the Hearts in a non-league battle on Friday, September 12. The Hearts go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Effingham lost 2-0 in their recent league battle against Taylorville (Taylorville, IL)

The Crusaders now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maryville Christian for a Gateway Metro battle on Tuesday, September 16.
