Kentucky High School Volleyball - Ballard over Marion County

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Ballard Bruins volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Marion County Knights.

With the win, Ballard improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Bruins travel to Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY) to face the Thoroughbreds in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Thoroughbreds go into the test with a record of 9-8. Newport Central Catholic lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)

Next, the Knights meet the Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Marion County will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Russell (Russell, KY).
