In Friday's non-league match, the Beekmantown Eagles (Plattsburgh, NY) volleyball squad overcame the host Colonie Central Wolfpack (Albany, NY), by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Plattsburgh for a Section 7 Freelance bout on Thursday, September 18. Beekmantown will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Northern Adirondack (Ellenburg Depot, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Colonie Central drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Columbia (East Greenbush, NY) to battle the Blue Devils in a Section 2 Suburban - Grey contest on Thursday, September 18.
