California High School Volleyball - Morro Bay can't get by Canyon Crest Academy
September 12, 2025: Morro Bay, CA 93442 Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Morro Bay Pirates (Morro Bay, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Ravens (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA). The Vaqueros come into the non-league challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, El Capitan was edged by Mt. Carmel (San Diego, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now sport a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clairemont for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Morro Bay will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 8-9.
