September 12, 2025: Smithville, TN 37166 The Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) volleyball knocked off the host DeKalb County Tigers (Smithville, TN), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Colonels now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roane County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 13.
With the loss, DeKalb County falls to 0-8 on the year. The Tigers host Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN) to battle the Panthers in a AA District 7 contest on Monday, September 15. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 4-5. Stone Memorial lost 3-2 in their recent league battle against Cumberland County (Crossville, TN)
