In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Port Charlotte Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Garrison Forest Grizzlies.

The Pirates (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Carrollwood Day (Tampa, FL). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Carrollwood Day beat Indian Rocks Christian (Largo, FL), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies meet the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions (Miami, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Garrison Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
