St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Howell Vikings (St. Charles, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (10-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jackson (Jackson, MO). The Fighting Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Jackson beat Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
