In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Jefferson RISE Charter volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Lutheran Gryphons.

The (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Willow (New Orleans, LA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Willow edged Bonnabel (Kenner, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
