The Taft Wildcats volleyball squad (Taft, CA), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA)

With the win, Quartz Hill improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Royals host Knight (Palmdale, CA) to encounter the Hawks in a Golden battle on Tuesday, September 16. The Hawks go into the battle with a record of 6-3. Knight won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Eastside (Lancaster, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Golden Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. Taft will meet a Grizzlies team coming off a 1-1 non-league Lone Pine (Lone Pine, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-12.
