Florida High School Volleyball - Donahue Catholic crushed by Gateway Charter
September 13, 2021: Fort Myers, FL 33913 The Gateway Charter Griffins topped the visiting Donahue Catholic Shamrocks volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Griffins now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gateway for a 3A District 8 test on Tuesday, September 14. Gateway Charter will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Island Coast (Cape Coral, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
The Shamrocks (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Florida Christian (Fort Myers, FL). The King's enter the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Southwest Florida Christian gained a win over Community Christian (Port Charlotte, FL), 3-0, in a league test.
