Massachusetts High School Soccer - Hoosac Valley nudges Gateway Regional
September 13, 2022: Cheshire, MA 01225 Hoosac Valley Hurricanes (Cheshire, MA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Gateway Regional Gators (Huntington, MA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hurricanes face the Commerce Red Raiders (Springfield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 14. Hoosac Valley will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 4-2 league win over Putnam Vo-Tech (Springfield, MA).
The Gators now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pioneer Valley Christian for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 14. Gateway Regional will face a Eagles team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to McCann Tech (North Adams, MA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
